Advanced Microsystems Integration Facility

The Advanced Microsystems Integration Facility (AMIF) provides laboratory clean room space and equipment to support multi-disciplinary research initiatives. Services and facilities available from AMIF include flip chip bonding, film deposition and etching, MEMS fabrication and micro-machining. Users of this facility cover research areas from information and communications technologies to biomedical Microsystems.

AMIF provides an open use shared-equipment facility with a vibrant community of researchers. The equipment located in the facility has been supplied and supported by the University of Calgary, several research grants, research chairs and donations from Nortel.
