Secure System on Chip Laboratory

The system-on-a-chip (SoC) laboratory allows designers to use third party intellectual property (IP) blocks for rapid chip design. These include a variety of proprietary structures including Bluetooth wireless networking processors, advanced microcomputer cores and custom real-time signal processors. Designs for novel MEMS (micro-electrical-mechanical systems) and microfluidic devices will be conducted. Current graduate research includes numerous industrial collaborations containing highly confidential intellectual property.
